The Artifice. (verses 1-4) </B></div> <div> <B>II.</B><B> The Accusation. (verses 5-9) </B></div> <div> <B>III.</B><B> The Apprehension. (verses 10-19)</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>It is while the cupbearer Nehemiah is dealing (under the direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit) with "The Artifice" that an individual reads a heart-moving six word phrase. (verse 3A)</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>The words "great" and "work" mean: of greater than average size and the sweat on one's brow.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Friend, you and I (those of us that are saved servants) must learn and then labour to do enormous enterprise for eternity!</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>There are three indispensable things a christian must implement to accomplish a "great work" for God. (All found in Nehemiah 6)</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>I.</B><B> GET A RARE BURDEN. </B></div> <div> <B>An indispensable thing a christian must implement to accomplish a "great work" for God is get a scarce burden. (verse 1B) Never forget that a common pack will only produce a common product. Show me some christian who always sacrifices and never slows down and I will show you a christian with an un-common saddle. (II Cor. 11:23) Get a rare burden!</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>II.</B><B> GET A RIGID BACKBONE. </B></div> <div> <B>An indispensable thing a christian must implement to accomplish a "great work" for God is get a strong backbone. (verse 3B) In this dark day preachers need a spinal column like a telephone pole when it comes to their Manuscripts, (THAT'S THE BIBLE!) their Music and their Methods! (I Cor. 15:58) Get a rigid backbone!</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>III.</B><B> GET A REAL BLESSING. </B></div> <div> <B>An indispensable thing a christian must implement to accomplish a "great work" for God is get a substantive blessing. (verse 16B) For way too long in the labour for the Lord we have depended upon hype, exaggerated reports and smoke and mirrors. If what you do for God can be reproduced by man, God is not a thousand miles near it! (Psalm 77:14) Get a real blessing!</B></div> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
